After much anticipation, Art Detectives finally has a UK release date.
The brand new crime drama series premieres Thursday 30 October at 8pm on U&Drama, with all six episodes dropping as a box set the same day on U.
Starring Stephen Moyer, the show follows DI Mick Palmer, a detective in the Heritage Crime Unit, who solves murders linked to rare art, stolen treasures and historic artefacts.
Teaming up with DC Shazia Malik (Nina Singh), Palmer takes on high-profile cases involving fake paintings, Viking gold and even relics from the Titanic.
Set against a backdrop of art galleries, old estates and hidden secrets, Art Detectives blends mystery, drama and history in a series full of twists.
In episode one, a respected art historian is murdered at a grand Yorkshire home.
A cryptic note is found, and family secrets begin to unravel. Alongside the cases, Palmer deals with a new romance and the unexpected return of his father – a legendary art forger played by Larry Lamb.
You can catch it weekly on U&Drama, or stream the full series from 30 October on U. The show originally premiered on Acorn TV where it is available internationally.
