Hot off the dramatic events of Season 1, Jim faces new turmoil when a wedding reception on the island takes a dark turn.
As romance creeps back into Bergerac’s life, Chloé Sweetlove’s Kim nudges him to try dating again.
While Jim is still coping with the loss of his wife, he meets Nicola – played by Camilla Beeput – and there’s a spark that may just make him rethink his future.
Meanwhile, Jim isn’t the only one feeling the love.
Zoë Wanamaker returns as Charlie Hungerford, his formidable mother-in-law, who’s found a potential new partner in the lively Nigel, portrayed by Adrian Edmondson.
But don’t expect things on Jersey to stay calm for long.
When the groom is found murdered in his hotel room, Jim is drawn back into a web of intrigue that could push him to his limits.
The familiar faces are joined by newcomers Lesley Sharp, Charles Dale, Turlough Convery, Georgina Rich, and Jonathan Aris, promising plenty of drama in the episodes ahead.
