BBC One has unveiled the official celebrity line-up for the new series of Celebrity Race Across the World, set to air this autumn.
The BAFTA-winning series is back with a brand new route, this time taking four celebrity duos through the stunning and challenging landscapes of Central America.
Swapping flights, luxury and digital convenience for local buses, paper maps and limited budgets, the pairs will travel 5,900km from Isla Mujeres in Mexico to Colombia’s remote Península de La Guajira.
The full line-up taking part is:
- Anita Rani (broadcaster and writer) and her dad, Bal
- Dylan Llewellyn (actor) and his mum, Jackie
- Tyler West (presenter and DJ) and his partner, Molly Rainford (actor and singer)
- Roman Kemp (broadcaster) and his sister, Harleymoon (singer-songwriter)
After the overwhelming response to last year’s series, this new journey promises even more unforgettable moments, culture shocks and emotional twists as the celebrities and their loved ones learn to navigate the unknown.
With no smartphones or bank cards, their relationships and resourcefulness will be tested like never before.
The show will air this autumn on BBC One and iPlayer.
Tim Harcourt, Chief Creative Officer at producers Studio Lambert said: “The series’ success is a testament to how much audiences connect with the show’s raw emotion, incredible journeys, and heartfelt human stories.
“This series brings a new set of celebrities into that world and what makes it so special is watching them open up, bond, and grow through a life-changing experience. It’s inspiring, unpredictable, and full of those powerful moments that have made the format such a hit with viewers.”
