The Ridge stars BAFTA Scotland Award-winner Lauren Lyle (Karen Pirie, Outlander) as Mia, a woman trying to outrun addiction and a career in ruins back in Scotland.

Hoping for a fresh start, she accepts a wedding invitation from her estranged sister in New Zealand. But on arrival, she finds tragedy instead—the bride-to-be has been killed.

Overcome with grief and pulled into a dangerous attraction to her late sister’s fiancé, Ewan (played by Jay Ryan, Top of the Lake, It: Chapter 2), Mia soon discovers the small community hides dark secrets.

As tensions rise, she becomes entangled in a web that threatens to unravel the entire town.

The international cast also features Dulcie Smart, Florence Hartigan, Chloe Parker, David Van Horn, Taqi Nazeer, Claire Dargo and Cora Bissett.

Filmed across New Zealand and Scotland, the series is directed by Douglas Mackinnon (Good Omens, Line of Duty) and Robyn Grace (Sweet Tooth), with acclaimed novelist Nora Chassler leading the writing team.
