We’re getting our first peek at The Lady – a buzzworthy new royal drama from the team behind The Crown.
ITV and BritBox have joined forces to bring this four-part series, which spotlights Jane Andrews: a woman who went from Buckingham Palace insider to convicted murderer.

Mia McKenna-Bruce, fresh from her BAFTA Rising Star win in 2024, takes the lead as Jane, a working-class girl who stunned everyone when she became the dresser to Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.
Jane’s journey thrust her into Britain’s elite circles, working alongside the royal family for nearly a decade before suddenly losing her coveted job.

After her dismissal from palace life, Jane’s hopes rest on her new relationship with Thomas Cressman. But when cracks appear in their romance, tragedy soon follows.
Fans of Game of Thrones will spot Natalie Dormer as Sarah Ferguson, while Ed Speleers, who viewers may recognize from Outlander and Downton Abbey, steps into the role of Thomas Cressman.
The star-studded cast continues with appearances from Philip Glenister, Claire Skinner, Laura Aikman, Ophelia Lovibond, Mark Stanley, Daniel Ryan, and Sean Teale.
The Lady will air on ITV in the UK and BritBox internationally in 2026.
