Prime Video has dropped the first images from Young Sherlock, the new drama series reimagining the famous detective’s beginnings, directed and executive produced by Guy Ritchie.

Hero Fiennes Tiffin, best known from the After movies, steps into the iconic detective’s shoes, tackling Sherlock Holmes as a brash, rough-edged youth just beginning to navigate the dangers and intrigues of Victorian-era crime solving.

The series promises plenty of the dry wit and energetic pacing familiar to fans of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes films.

Sherlock, living in 1870s Oxford as a young outcast, stumbles into his debut case: a murder that not only puts his freedom on the line but hooks him into a far-reaching conspiracy with global consequences.
