There’s plenty of new blood in Season 3 too, with Killian Scott, Jonathan Aris, Joe Dempsie, Andrew Buchan, and Amanda Drew joining the line-up. Daisy Waterstone is also back as Abigail Carey.

Ben Chanan, who won a BAFTA for his work, returns as creator, writer, and executive producer.

Season 3 picks up a year after Rachel Carey exposed the UK intelligence community’s manipulative program, Correction, by airing a deepfake of a government minister live to the nation.

Now acting as Commander of Counter Terrorism Command, Rachel is determined to earn back public trust with the new Operation Veritas camera system. But when a devastating, well-planned act of terror rocks the British establishment, she’s thrust into another high-stakes game where trust is a rare commodity.

As the inquiry into Correction continues, Rachel and her team must confront questions about the very nature of truth in a world awash with misinformation and deepfakes.

The investigation pulls Carey into a sprawling political and media conspiracy – and the question remains, just who is pulling the strings?

The Capture is set to land on BBC iPlayer and BBC One next spring in the UK. Season one and two are currently available on Peacock in the US.
