Vicky McClure returns as the bomb disposal expert leading her team through another tense mission, this time dealing with a chilling new threat.
With someone targeting people across the city and demanding revenge, what starts as a bomb scare quickly turns into something much darker.

The new series brings back familiar faces including Eric Shango, Nabil Elouahabi, Natalie Simpson and Maanuv Thiara, with Jason Flemyng joining as a guest star.
Across six episodes, the team must work with the Police Counterterrorism Unit to stop a bomber before it’s too late.
Trigger Point has already become one of ITV’s biggest hits, pulling in over 30 million streams on ITVX and averaging 8.1 million viewers last series.
It even received a royal visit from The Queen earlier this year to mark ITV’s 70th anniversary.
The series returns soon on ITV1 and ITVX, with all past episodes available to stream now.
And good news for fans = a fourth series is already in the works for 2026.
