Casting has been confirmed for The Split Up, a brand-new six-part legal drama.
Ritu Arya (The Umbrella Academy) and Sanjeev Bhaskar (Unforgotten) will lead the show, made by the creators behind the hit British series The Split.
This new story follows the powerful Kishan family, a top-tier law firm working the high-net-worth divorce circuit in Manchester, England.

Arya plays Aria Kishan, a rising legal star preparing to take over the firm from her father, Dhruv (Bhaskar). But with the recent loss of her mother and an old flame suddenly back in town, both her personal and professional worlds are put to the test.
Created by Ursula Rani Sarma and based on the characters from The Split by Abi Morgan, The Split Up introduces a fresh, modern family at the center of high-stakes legal drama.
Aria must juggle complicated family expectations, pressure from her relationship with fiancé Neal, and her own desire to carve out her place in the world.
The cast includes Aysha Kala (Virdee), Arian Nik (Film Club), Danny Ashok (Dinosaur), Dimitri Leonidas (Those About To Die), Mawaan Rizwan (Juice), Sindhu Vee (Matilda the Musical), Shalini Peiris (The White Lotus) and Tom Forbes (Queenie).
The series also welcomes a host of standout guest stars, including Lenny Henry (Three Little Birds) and Jane Horrocks (Bloods).
Produced by the team behind Chernobyl and This Is Going to Hurt, The Split Up is now filming.
It will debut on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK with an international release to be announced.
