Steven is bringing his signature wit to the world of political power dynamics, focusing not on party lines, but on all the characters – from ambitious advisors to the conspiracy theorist running the café in the basement.

The cast is stacked with talent, featuring Akshay Khanna, Abigail Lawrie, Laura Haddock, Jing Lusi, Pierro Niel-Mee, Rick Warden, Joe Wilkinson, Robyn Cara, Richard Rankin, Rhiannon Clements, Patrick Baladi, Shaun Prendergast, Harry Baxendale, Alex Macqueen, Sid Sagar, Sam Alexander and Emer Kenny.

Audiences can expect a blend of everyday chaos and historic drama inside Britain’s most famous terraced house, where every corner is filled with ambition, romance, crisis and the occasional mouse.

Rafe calls Number 10 “a sensational piece of writing, equal to its peerless author, Steven Moffat,” adding, “I’m delighted to be playing the Prime Minister in a funny, real and thrilling piece of TV.”

Jenna says she’s “very much looking forward to moving into Number 10 with Steven’s cracking scripts,” highlighting her excitement at teaming up again with familiar faces and a celebrated creative team.

Katherine is thrilled to be collaborating with Steven again, saying she’s excited to take on her new role behind the famous black door.

Steven describes the show as “the mad house that runs the madhouse,” and promises a hilarious, heartfelt exploration of the people who keep the government running, or at least, muddling through.

There’s no premiere date yet, but Number 10 is shaping up to be a must-watch for fans of smart, character-driven British TV with a twist of satire.
