This season, the drama shifts to the US Embassy in London, where celebrations for a new US ambassador grind to a halt after a sinister call threatens to blow a British government jet out of the sky – but only if anyone tries to leave the embassy.
As the embassy locks down, a series of murders put Hana at the center of a messy international crisis.
To find the killer and prevent disaster, Hana must team up with Brody, an old colleague she doesn’t trust, setting up a classic uneasy alliance.
There’s a personal stake for Hana, as her own boss Madeline Delaney is among those at risk on the targeted jet.
It’s a race against the clock for Hana and Brody to unravel a deadly conspiracy threatening both embassy staff and the jet’s passengers.
Red Eye launched last year to big numbers – over eight million viewers tuned in, and it racked up more than 29 million streams on ITVX, securing a top spot among ITV shows in 2024.
The new season lands January 1 on ITV1 and ITVX.
