The trailer for Return to Paradise season two has officially dropped, and it’s clear Dolphin Cove is anything but quiet.
The Australian Death in Paradise spin-off returns to BBC One and iPlayer in the UK on Friday 31 October and ABC in Australia from 15 November 2025.
Anna Samson is back as Detective Sergeant Mackenzie Clarke – still stuck in her seaside hometown and still navigating messy emotions and even messier crimes.

Following the bombshell ending of season one, Mackenzie now has to deal with the fallout of her ex-fiancé Glenn’s surprise confession: he still has feelings for her, despite being engaged to someone else.
As if that wasn’t enough to handle, a fresh wave of complex cases hits the community, including the mysterious chemical poisoning of a man found alone at sea and a suspicious death within a visiting rock band.
There’s more personal drama too, with the sudden arrival of Colin’s old mates threatening to expose the real reason he left his life behind to start over in Dolphin Cove.
With secrets unravelling on all sides and tensions building, this new season promises plenty of emotional twists, sun-soaked mystery and small-town secrets bubbling to the surface.
In the UK, season two begins Friday 31 October on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Those in Australia can watch on ABC from 15 November.
In the US, the first season is available now on BritBox with season two’s release date to be announced.
