The Celebrity Traitors is returning in 2026 after a record-shattering first season that became one of Britain’s biggest TV hits in years.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the star-studded spin-off of The Traitors will once again unfold inside the atmospheric Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, where a new group of celebrities will lie, deceive and outwit one another to win the ultimate game of trust and betrayal.
The show’s first season made history as the UK’s most-watched unscripted series since 2021, drawing over 14.8 million views for its premiere and peaking at 12 million for its finale.
The series not only dominated ratings but also delivered a major economic boost, with a new report revealing that The Traitors franchise – including the UK, US, and celebrity editions – has added an estimated £21.8 million (around $28 million) to Scotland’s economy since 2022.
Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK.
Alongside the second season, fans can also look forward to the return of The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, the official companion show that dives into behind-the-scenes strategy and shocking betrayals, streaming on BBC Sounds, BBC Two and iPlayer.
