The first teaser for Under Salt Marsh, a gripping new six-part original Welsh crime drama, has been revealed.
The new series stars Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone, Pride & Prejudice) and Rafe Spall (Trying, Life of Pi).
Set in the windswept Welsh coastal town of Morfa Halen, Under Salt Marsh follows former detective Jackie Ellis (Reilly), whose life was shattered by a cold case that cost her both her career and her family’s trust.
When a shocking discovery during a once-in-a-generation storm reopens the investigation, Jackie is pulled back into a world she thought she had left behind.
Forced to reunite with her estranged police partner Eric Bull (Spall), Jackie must face a community haunted by secrets, guilt and grief.
As the storm intensifies, the pair uncover a conspiracy that threatens to destroy everything, and everyone, they hold dear.
Created, written, and directed by Claire Oakley (Make Up), Under Salt Marsh combines psychological mystery with an atmospheric portrait of a town on edge.
The ensemble cast includes Jonathan Pryce (The Crown), Naomi Yang (Chimerica), Dinita Gohil (Treason), Brian Gleeson (Bad Sisters), Kimberley Nixon (Queenie), and Harry Lawtey (Industry).
Under Salt Marsh will premiere on Sky and streaming service NOW in 2026 in the UK, with international release details expected to follow.
