Grab your detective hats – suspenseful drama The Game isn’t ready to close its case files just yet.
The show airs on Channel 5 in the UK and is available on BritBox internationally.
The network has officially confirmed a second season for the four-part thriller, which has proved a hit with viewers thanks to the stellar trio of Jason Watkins, Robson Green and Sunetra Sarker.

Sebastian Cardwell, Channel 5’s head of drama, has a plan for the show’s future.
He told Televisual, “We see that as a three season story.”
That puts The Game firmly on track to become one of Channel 5’s most ambitious dramas yet.
The first season introduced us to Huw Miller, played by Jason Watkins, a former detective haunted by his failure to catch a notorious criminal known as the Ripton Stalker.
Trying – not always successfully – to embrace retirement with his wife Alice, portrayed by Sunetra Sarker, Huw’s peace shatters when a mysterious new neighbor, Patrick, arrives.
Robson Green brings a mix of charm and menace to Patrick, whose offhand use of a chilling catchphrase reopens old wounds for Huw.
Suspicion and obsession run high as Huw is pulled back into a cat-and-mouse game he thought he’d left behind.
With friends and neighbors caught in the crossfire, the suburban street setting is anything but peaceful.
The careful balancing act between paranoia, small-town politics, and unsolved mysteries keeps the tension high.
For now, catch up on 5 in the UK and BritBox internationally.
